There will be many sceptics out there that will question, if not try to debunk, what is presented but at the end of the day the Bible is the truth and no man can deny it. Man can misinterpret or place their own slant but in truth the bible cannot be refuted. This is one of the major reasons there is so much opposition to the bible as it impacts how we should live our lives.
Climate Change and with it Global Warming have become the most controversial subject in the world today. Attracting both ‘those that believe’ and ‘those that are seen as climate sceptics’ but at the end of the day it’s a subject that is proving to make or break governments.
Here’s the world’s definition of climate change:
“Climate Change is a change in the pattern of weather, and related changes in oceans, land surfaces and ice sheets, occurring over time scales of decades or longer.”

Let’s first look at where the current agitation on climate change stems from.
Back in 2006 Al Gore presented a video called, “An Inconvenient Truth” assisted by the Duarte Group who created all the graphics for this video.
The storyline of the documentary is structured around the threat that climate change poses to the Earth – it’s causes, effects and history and potential solutions to it.
It’s quite a compelling story yet today a number of the projected eco-threats that were to manifest themselves still haven’t.
“Mr Justice Barton yesterday said that while the film was “broadly accurate” in its presentation of climate change, he identified nine significant errors in the film, some of which, he said, had arisen in “the context of alarmism and exaggeration” to support the former US vice-president’s views on climate change.” (The Guardian newspaper)”
One of the major instabilities is the upheaval caused to countries by radical organisations pushing their own agender demanding to ‘reverse’ the effects of climate change specifically the reduction of what they are told are high rates of CO2 reportedly ‘killing’ our planet. These small but very vocal and sometimes violent interest groups conduct scare campaigns having influenced political parties which in turn have brought governments to impose unattainable remission targets which in turn imposes huge financial burdens upon industry and businesses and down to the general population with very restrictive penalties if targets are not met.
The sad story is that scientists promote this narrative spruiking figures and charts showing the increase in CO2 emissions and how the ice in Greenland is melting at an alarming rate. Whilst on the other side of the coin reports come in that these same areas have totally been ‘re-iced’.

Look at this graph ! Especially the lower one.
According to the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI), the Current Surface Mass Budget of the Greenland Ice Sheet is way, way higher than the mean.
The difference is especially evident in the bottom graph, where you can see the blue line shooting upward.
Scientists and the activist groups all believe that climate change can be reversed by human intervention by throwing vast amounts of money at it as well as penalising all businesses that minority groups believe are the cause of this pollution.
Think again!
The climate hasn’t changed but Gods will has! You see our Lord has total control over His creation and as His will has been in past times He again is showing mankind that it is through our disobedience that the earth has withdrawn its abundance.
Do you think for a moment that man can change anything in nature? Stop a volcano, a tornado, a hurricane, cyclone, snow storm, wildfires, bush fires, flooding or drought. Scientists say that they know the causes and that they are able to control these events but not one has reportedly achieved anything in the past 100+ years. So pray tell me how throwing vast sums of money into the hands of unseen organisations (which is really designed to bankrupt countries) going to achieve one iota of change.
Look at what God has told us about the planet He created and provided for us and what He will do when those He created to take charge wilfully disobey His words.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
If the people will rise up, humble themselves and seek forgiveness for their sins, then and only then will the Lord again restore the earth to is fruitful nature.
Look what God said to the prophet Isaiah about the land.
The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
To languish – To wither; to fade; to lose the vegetating power. Webster’s 1828 Dictionary
The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: Isaiah 24:4-6
It is because of our disobedience to His law that He is withdrawing His grace from upon the earth. This will result in greater tumult and distress to the planet and there is nothing mankind can physically or financially do to change that. No amount of reduction to so called emissions is going to reduce CO2 for instance in the atmosphere. Man made or through nature.
This generation is living at the very end of time according to the prophecies of the bible and God’s spirit is being withdrawn and man can only hope to change by returning to the law of God – His Commandments. But hey, man has thrown out these as well as His word so what have they to turn to. Jesus told us that we can not rely on man and science will be proven to be a fable.
The true erosion can be found in men’s hearts. Every day we hear, read or see of man’s inhumanity to man. Our political leaders cry peace and safety but in fact destruction is at every corner.
A very wise lady told us of these happening over 100 years ago.
“The restraining Spirit of God is even now being withdrawn from the world. Hurricanes, storms, tempests, fire and flood, disasters by sea and land, follow each other in quick succession. Science seeks to explain all these. The signs thickening around us, …. but when God shall bid His angels loose the winds, there will be such a scene of strife as no pen can picture.”
So where had the people transgressed that’s bringing this devastation upon the earth. Again, that same lady in her book, The Great Controversy written in 1884 explains:
“The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve Him not. While the observance of the false Sabbath in compliance with the law of the state, contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a power that is in opposition to God, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in obedience to God’s law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator. While one class, by accepting the sign of submission to earthly powers, receive the mark of the beast, the other, choosing the token of allegiance to divine authority, receive the Seal of God.
WoW, (Wonders of Wonders) powerful stuff.
The Seal of God as spoken of here is the true Sabbath, the 7th day of the week which is Saturday. This day has not changed since creation 6,000 years ago Genesis 2:2-3.
The mark of the beast is the spurious day of worship which is the 1st day of the week which is Sunday. Nearly the whole religious world worships on this day. “and all the world wondered after the beast” Revelation 13:3. Who is this ‘beast’ – it’s the papacy. The Catholic Church brought about the change during the Council of Laodicea in AD363.
The Council of Laodicea produced sixty rulings, or canons, covering a broad range of topics. These rulings prohibited certain foods during Lent, discussed whether or not to minster to Jews and heretics, explicitly condemned astrology, specified the correct Christian “Sabbath day,” and emphasized the importance of modesty.
The council of Laodicea states in cannon 29:
Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath (7th Day), but must work on that day, rather honouring the Lord’s Day (1st Day); and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.
Anathema – being excommunicated
So the Catholic Church was seen to change ‘times and laws’ exactly as God prophesised in Daniel 7:25.
And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
I’ll not go into the details of this prophecy here, suffice to say, as a consequence of the words here the Catholic Church was responsible for a reign of terror for 1260 years also referred to as a period of the ‘inquisition’.
To sum up, man may very well have contributed physically somewhat to climate change but the coming trauma of nature will be as a direct result of the hardness of man’s heart towards God.
Don’t be fooled that there is anything that man can do physically to reverse the current situation other than for all mankind to bow down before our creator God, forsake al sin and repent seeking Christ Jesus as our personal saviour.
